Whole-house freshness
Disinfection & Deodorizing
Duct disinfection and whole-house dry fogging using 100% natural agents — the finishing step that treats the system, and the surfaces, after the buildup is removed.
Cleaning removes what's built up in your ducts. Disinfection treats what's left behind — odors from pets, smoke, cooking, or mustiness that have soaked into the system, and the surfaces the air touches on its way to every room.
We apply 100% natural disinfecting and deodorizing agents through the duct system after cleaning, so the treatment reaches the same places the air does. And when a home needs more than the ductwork treated, our dry fogging system carries the same treatment through the living space itself.
What's included
Duct disinfection
Applied through the ductwork after cleaning, treating the full path your air travels.
Whole-house dry fogging
A separate system that fogs the entire home, treating surfaces the ductwork alone can't reach.
Deodorizing
Neutralizes pet, smoke, cooking, and musty odors at the source instead of masking them.
100% natural agents
The products we fog through your system are natural — no harsh chemical residue in your airflow.
Two treatments — the ducts, or the whole house
These are two different services, and which one you need depends on where the problem actually lives.
Duct disinfection treats the system itself. It's applied through the ductwork right after a cleaning, so the treatment travels the same path your air does and reaches every conditioned room.
Whole-house dry fogging is a separate system. Instead of moving through the ducts, it fills the living space with a dry fog that settles across the surfaces in the home — walls, floors, furnishings, the places germs and odors actually sit. It's the right call after illness in the house, a pest or rodent problem, water intrusion, or when a previous owner's smells are in more than just the vents.
Why we say disinfection, not sanitizing
Most of the trade uses these words interchangeably. Technically they are different product-label terms, and we'd rather be precise than casual about it: sanitizing describes a product labeled to reduce microorganisms on a surface, while disinfecting describes a product labeled for a broader range of organisms. They describe how a product is labeled, not a health promise for your home.
What we perform is disinfection and deodorizing. If you've seen our older material — or a competitor's — call it whole-house sanitizing, this is the same service under the more accurate name.
When disinfection makes sense
Disinfection is an add-on to duct cleaning — most effective right after the source buildup is removed. Customers typically add it when:
- The home has had smokers, multiple pets, or long-standing musty smells
- Moving into a previously owned home and wanting a fresh start
- After water intrusion or dampness has left odors in the system
- Illness has gone through the household and surfaces need treating, not just the ducts
- A rental or flip is being turned over between occupants
Disinfection & Deodorizing FAQs
What's the difference between disinfecting and sanitizing?
They are product-label terms. Sanitizing describes a product labeled to reduce microorganisms on a surface; disinfecting describes a product labeled for a broader range of organisms. The trade often says "sanitizing" out of habit; what we actually perform is disinfection and deodorizing, so that's what we call it. Neither word is a health promise — we walk you through the product before any treatment.
What is whole-house dry fogging?
It's a separate system from duct disinfection. Rather than treating only the ductwork, it fills the home with a dry fog that settles onto surfaces throughout the living space — targeting germs and neutralizing odors where they actually sit. We use it after illness, pest problems, water intrusion, or when odors have gone well beyond the vents.
Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?
We use 100% natural disinfecting and deodorizing agents. Our technicians will walk you through the product and process before any treatment is applied.
Do I need a duct cleaning first?
For duct disinfection, yes — it works best on a clean system. Fogging over heavy dust buildup treats the dust, not the ducts. We do them together in one visit. Whole-house dry fogging can be booked on its own when the concern is the living space rather than the system.
Will it get rid of pet and smoke smells?
Duct disinfection neutralizes odors held in the duct system, which is where whole-house smells recirculate from. When odors have soaked into carpet, drywall, or furnishings, whole-house dry fogging is the treatment that reaches them — we'll be straight with you about which one your home actually needs.
