Do I have to show you the other company's quote?
No — it's helpful but never required. We inspect your ductwork the same way regardless, then price by register (vent) count. If you do share the other quote, we can tell you line by line whether what's on it matches what we find.
What if you find that I don't need a cleaning?
Then we tell you that. Dust on a register grille doesn't always mean the duct runs are dirty. Being told 'you're fine, save your money' is a real outcome of this inspection — it's how we've earned a 4.9-star Google rating.
How is your price set if the verdict is that I do need cleaning?
By register count — every supply register and return grille — plus the number of HVAC systems. Air duct cleaning is $500 per system for the first 10 registers ($600 if the furnace is upstairs, in a crawl space or the attic), plus $20 per additional register. You'll get an exact written quote after the inspection, and the price we agree on is the price you pay.
